The fear of doing or saying the wrong thing can impede your ability to develop effective Indigenous relationships. You will learn what to do, what not to do and why, as you pave your path to respectful and effective Indigenous relations.

 This workshop will provide you with insight, strategies, tips, and suggestions necessary to overcome that fear.

 This series of workshop will discuss some of the following topics:

  • Understanding how to cultivate Indigenous relationships

  • Understanding business reasons for working with Indigenous Peoples

  • How to begin to consult with Indigenous Peoples

  • Fear of saying or doing the wrong thing

  • How to manage risk when cultivating Indigenous relationships

  • Understanding cultural tourism

  • Ensuring that experiences are culturally authentic.

  • Involving the community's “culture keepers” and Elders

  • Practicing environmental sustainability.

  • Steps to prepare an Indigenous cultural tourism business plan

  • Understanding the industry, learning about cultural tourists, and developing products carefully

This virtual Workshop will provide answers to some of the questions you have regarding how to build successful Indigenous engagement strategies  and relationships
